Errol Station Link

Construction of the path from Errol village to Errol Station is now complete and the path is being well used.  A small problem appears to be damage to the verges from rabbits or horses.  Path users are asked to help with maintenance by tramping in holes.  A formal opening ceremony will follow later  this summer.  The project is being funded by the Scottish Government & the European Community Rural Tayside LEADER 2007-2013 Programme, Perth & Kinross Countryside Trust, Perth & Kinross Quality of Life Trust and COGG.

Invergowrie and Longforgan - land managers

The Scottish Crop Research Institute (SCRI) is one of the major landmanagers in the Invergowrie area.   There is the well-established 'Invergowrie Walks Network' around the land managed by the SCRI and the Institute is happy for the public to use these.  You are requested keep to the paths and not venture on to land used for experiments.  The removal of any material from the fields is strictly forbidden and people are reminded that the area is monitored by CCTV.

The Living Field Community Garden is situated on SCRI land and more details on this can be found on the 'Sites of Interest' page.
