Newly developed path |
| Description |
Path completed in August 2007. Look for the signpost to "Kinnaird Road" at Wester Ballindean. The path starts at the north side of the High Carse road where it follows a concrete track then a grassy track through a gate. The path climbs fairly steeply and after passing through a young woodland area, it passes through a field prior to accessing the Abernyte - Kinnaird road. Because most of the path is a grass path with five gates on a fairly steep incline, this makes it unsuitable for wheelchair, disabled and pushchair access.

| Description |
This is a very attractive route that incorporates the Ballindean path (see above for description) into a round walk using quiet country roads. The road from the end of the Ballindean path has some moderate downhill inclines to Kinnaird, but the section on the High Carse road from the Kinnaird crossroads to Ballindean is flat. Take care on the latter section of the road which has more traffic than the Abernyte/Kinnaird road. Difficulties with the Ballindean path and the narrowness and inclines on the road section probably make this route unsuitable for disabled and wheelchair access. |
