13 June 2008Abernyte Community has been awarded £7112 to carry out improvements to the Glebe Millennium Walk. This grant has been awarded by the Big Lottery Fund Breathing Places Campaign. Abernyte Community Company is very excited and pleased to receive this award and looks forward to working with the Heritage Group and wider community in planning and implementing the works. 10 June 2008We are pleased to be promoting another path - Glen of Rait to Dalreichmoor via Shanry. You can get details here. This path can be combined with a walk on quiet roads through the Sidlaw hills returning past Evelick and Kilspindie to give a route that is over 6 miles long.

All our mapping pages have been rewritten to incorporate the new v6 version of Microsoft Virtual Earth maps that are compatible with the Safari browser frequently used on the Apple Mac PC. Click here to see details of all our maps.
We may be one of the smallest villages in the Carse of Gowrie but we have some wonderful views of the Carse in all directions.
