We are pleased to be promoting another path - Glen of Rait to Dalreichmoor via Shanry.  You can get details here.   This path can be combined with a walk on quiet roads through the Sidlaw hills returning past Evelick and Kilspindie to give a route that is over 6 miles long.

Carse of Gowrie Group - Paths Project

The Carse of Gowrie looking from Kinnoull Hill

The Carse of Gowrie in east central Scotland is a fertile strip of land in Perth and Kinross, Scotland, stretching for about 24km along the north shore of the Firth of Tay between Perth and Dundee and bordered by the Sidlaw hills to the north. It is a beautiful part of Scotland to live in and visit.

The Carse of Gowrie Group (CoGG) established the Paths Project to develop a comprehensive network of paths for walking and other forms of non-mechanised transport. If this is your interest, then you have found the best site for a free source of information, resources and maps of the paths we are developing and promoting.

CoGG and the Paths Project is run by groups of volunteers representing the various communities within the Carse. More information on the background to the Paths Project can be found here and details of the volunteer groups here.
